Research Interests

Dr. B. N. Pandey has been working in the area of Cellular Membrane and Free Radical Radiobiology. He has been actively involved in investigating the mechanisms of membrane and cellular oxidative damage by natural antioxidants to gain deeper insight of their involvement in radiation induced apoptotic death with relevance to cellular radioprotection and cancer radiotherapy. His current research activities involve elucidating the molecular mechanisms involved in membrane and cellular oxidative damage in radiation-induced bystander phenomenon.
