AMBULATORY PRIMARY CARE

Offers the opportunity to experience working with a family physician in a setting which allows the student responsibility appropriate to his or her level of knowledge and skills.  This elective consists of full time work with a preceptor.

RESEARCH IN FAMILY MEDICINE

STUDENT FAMILY HEALTH CARE CENTER (SFHCC)

Approximately one night per month during the third and fourth years (four week credit); throughout the academic year - credit will be given in May of the fourth year

Prerequisites Twenty (20) nights of participation in the 1st and/or 2nd year

SFHCC provides primary care to the residents of the greater Newark community, as well as a fulfilling medical, educational experience for the students.
