Steven J. Weiss, MD

Dr. Steven J. Weiss is a specialist in allergy and clinical immunology. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NJMS. Dr. Weiss received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School, and completed training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York. Dr. Weiss remained at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center to complete fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology at the R.A. Cooke Institute of Allergy. He has been in private practice in the Essex and Union county areas for over 25 years. He supervises one of the busier allergy and immunology clinics at the doctor’s office complex (DOC) at UMDNJ. Prior to his work in the allergy and immunology training program at UMDNJ, Dr. Weiss was involved in the allergy and immunology training program at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York from 1996 until 2009. His professional interests include drug allergies, chronic sinus disease and the treatment of bronchial asthma. He is a past president of the New York Allergy and Asthma Society and is the Chief of the Section of Allergy and Immunology at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.
