Dr. John Neal VI, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon at North Jersey Orthopaedic Institute (NJOI). Dr. Neal practices general orthopaedics with a special focus on both operative and no operative management of fractures, sports injuries of all kinds, bone and soft tissue infections. He also specializes in the management of arthritic conditions of the hip, knee and shoulder.
Dr. Neal is a native of Southern Pines, NC and currently lives with his wife and son in Summit, NJ. His interests include golf, running and hiking.

Dr. Neal completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds a master's degree in physiology from North Carolina State University and completed his undergraduate work at Duke University.
