Scholarly Activity

Teaching

All residents are expected to participate in the education of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School medical students. Some of this teaching takes place in the first two years of the curriculum where residents are given the responsibility of conducting gross organ reviews in the various courses. The residents are also exposed to teaching medical students in the third and fourth years of the medical school curriculum when students enroll in the pathology elective courses. These opportunities allow the residents to explore being both physician and teacher.
