The Division of Pediatric Neurology provides diagnosis and treatment of children with disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including acute and chronic diseases, central nervous system infections, degenerative diseases, seizure disorders, muscle disorders, neonatal complications, trauma and head injury. An active clinical and inpatient service enables the division's fellows to experience a wide range of patients. Within University Hospital, a video-EEG monitoring tool enables physicians to more accurately evaluate seizure disorders. Evaluation of learning disabilities is available as well as a complete range of diagnostic modalities including evoked potential, EMG, CT scan, muscle biopsy, and neuropathology.
