Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES)

The Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health presents current topics of public health interest to a broad base of health professionals which includes Physicians, Faculty Members, Residents, Medical Students, Public Health Officers, Epidemiologists, Nurses, and Certified Health Education Specialists.

The Public Health and Preventive Medicine Grand Rounds Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is sponsored by Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health, Rutgers School of Public Health, New Jersey Public Health Training Center, and Center for Continuing and Outreach Education at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.

The Rutgers SPH has been designated as a provider of continuing education in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

Rutgers School of Public Health has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health as a provider of New Jersey Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs). Select programs are approved for CHES credit award.
