Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Division

department faculty and staff

The Division of Plastic Surgery is strongly committed to excellence in patient care and cross-disciplinary research that brings current medical developments into clinical practice. Our team of faculty surgeons provides thorough evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments in all areas of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery including Craniofacial Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, and Hand Surgery in children and adults. Our training, clinical experience, and scientific research are driven by a sincere dedication to excellent medical care. Each patient is treated as a unique individual, as physical, psychological, and philosophical differences may affect treatment choices. We encourage patients to discuss these factors and any other concern with us.

Teaching

The Division of Plastic Surgery is committed to training the best of the future's plastic surgeons. Our goal is to train independently-thinking plastic surgeons who will become leaders in their field and communities. The Plastic Surgery Residency program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School - is a 6-year integrated program under the cooperation of the Division of Plastic Surgery and the Department of Surgery. Two residents a year match into the integrated program, which is administered through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the AAMC.
