Running around the hospital or running in your first 5k, we just can't get enough! A few of our residents are avid marathon runners and would love to share their peace with you. If you're looking to run in your first road race, some races close by are the annual Cherry Blossom 10k (beautiful and flat) or the Newport Half Marathon through Liberty State Park. If 26.2 miles isn't in your future, there are plenty of iPhone apps to motivate you! Nike+ RunClub, MapMyRun, and Couch to 5k just to name a few

There are many studios (especially in the Montclair and Bloomfield area) that offer “first class/week free.” Most studios in our area teach vinyasa, or a flowing style, of yoga, but other styles including bikram (if you're looking to really sweat) are out there as well.
