The research programs of many of our faculty seek to understand the origins of neurological and psychiatric disorders and to develop new therapeutics to treat and prevent diseases and dysfunctions of the brain and nerves, including congenital and acquired brain diseases, neurodegenerative diseases and brain and spinal cord injuries.
