A growing number of INS faculty are interested in promoting regeneration of the CNS. Approaches range from research on stem cells and progenitors to studies on promoting axonal regeneration and synaptogenesis with applications to stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, visual impairments and Parkinson’s disease.
