Overview

Dr. Constancia Uy is Professor of Pediatrics, Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs and Director of Pediatric Nephrology at the Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. She is one of 11 pediatric nephrologists in New Jersey.
Dr. Uy received the University Master Educator award and was inducted into the Stuart Cook Master Educator Guild. UMDNJ Foundation has bestowed upon her the "Excellence in Teaching" Award and the students at NJMS honored her with 11 Golden Apple Awards. She served as the Acting Associate Dean for Student Affairs at NJMS in July 2005 to June 2006.
Dr. Uy provided leadership in medical organizations where she served as President of the Nephrology Society of New Jersey and the New Jersey Medical Women's Association.

Indeed, Dr. Uy is a competent physician, excellent medical educator, dynamic administrator and a dedicated community leader.
