The largest city in New Jersey, Newark is an urban community within convenient traveling distance of New York City. One unique aspect of Newark is the large Portuguese/Brazilian neighborhood in the Ironbound District. Among the attractions in and around Newark are a multitude of restaurants, MetLife Stadium (home of the NFL's New York Jets and Giants), the Prudential Center (home of the NHL's New Jersey Devils), the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), and the New Jersey seashore and the mountainous country of western New Jersey, and eastern Pennsylvania. The Newark Liberty International Airport offers direct flights to most major national and international destinations.
