Welcome to the Adult Neurology Residency Program at Rutgers Health New Jersey Medical School (RH-NJMS); where we create excellent physicians through a balance of clinical training, research exposure, diverse didactic teaching, and career development. Our program trains independent thinkers who are driven leaders in the field of neurology. We have a supportive environment where residents can thrive and receive excellent clinical and didactic training, research involvement, and teaching opportunities.

A successful residency is created through a mixture of the residents’ attitude, aptitude, and ability in addition to the program’s ability to foster these traits into a competent and compassionate neurologist. We use a combination of didactic, case-based, and problem-based learning methods in addition to direct observation and feedback to best prepare our residents for future success as practitioners. The strength of our program is derived from the diversity and resilience of our residents.

Thank you for considering the RH-NJMS Adult Neurology program as your possible future home. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
