Amee Patrawalla MD MPH
Program Director, PCCM Fellowship
Welcome to the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School - Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program. As of July 1st, 2013 we are part of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, which has merged with the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ).
The Rutgers – NJMS PCCM fellowship program offers excellent training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Our program spans three diverse hospitals each providing a unique experience to the Pulmonary and Critical Care trainee. Our dedicated and energetic faculty work closely with each fellow, and enjoy the close, collegial relationship that develops.
We are very proud of our graduates and the long-term success they have had in the field. Rutgers – NJMS PCCM fellows are a diverse group of trainees who come together with the unified goal of immersing themselves in the field of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Fellows gain experience with an incredible range of patient illness and disease states throughout the three hospitals, which serves as a solid foundation for their future careers. Our aim is to help you, the trainee, develop into a confident, astute and successful Pulmonary & Critical Care specialist, whether your ultimate goal is clinical or academic medicine.
We invite you to take a look at our updated website and feel free to contact us with any questions.
