Office of the COO

With a focus on advancing New Jersey Medical School's four mission priorities (Education, Research, Patient Care and Community Relations), The Office of the Chief Operating Officer at NJMS provides systems, infrastructural, and tactical support for the NJMS community. Its operations and administration services include, but are not limited to, marketing, internal and external communications, project management, strategic planning and analysis, institutional planning, information services technology, labor management, government relations, and community affairs.

Through its divisions of Marketing and Communications; Facilities, Planning, and Management; IT@NJMS; and Project Management, the office works to promote and advance innovation; to ensure proper administration and application of resources; and to advance the goals and objectives of the NJMS community. As Business Process Partners we strive to improve operational efficiencies by reducing costs, increasing savings, and promoting business development.

NJMS is a state-of-the-art technological and cutting-edge academic and research environment. We provide outstanding clinical care in our faculty practice and advance health and wellness in the community we serve. We are proud of our many outstanding achievements and have taken great strides in cultivating the NJMS brand as a high-caliber image through a variety of communication vehicles and interactions with major media and digital outlets, public officials, health science organizations, and community leaders. Our efforts directly support NJMS' best and brightest - its students, faculty and staff - providing them with the tools and assistance for success.
