Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics
About us:
The Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics provides medical and therapeutic
services to children with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral problems
and to children at risk for behavioral problems. Services are also available
to the families of these children who may need support in order to cope with
their child's disability or advocacy services to assist them in negotiating
accommodations in the schools and community. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary
team comprised of physicians, psychologists, social workers, nutritionists,
physical and occupational therapists, speech and hearing therapists, children
are evaluated and referred for more specialized interventions. The Division
works closely with school personnel in order to obtain specialized services
within the school system.
