Welcome to Mini-Medical School

The MiniMed School at NJMS seeks to identify and encourage high school juniors and seniors to consider careers in medicine and the health sciences by exploring emerging topics in medicine and healthcare. The Program is designed for high school students who want to gain a deeper understanding of the world of Medicine; Mini-Medical School is a seven-week series of didactic sessions with medical students followed by professors of medicine and science. Each week, students are exposed to various medical education topics: cardiology, mental health, infectious diseases, oncology, orthopedics, health equity, and social justice. Participants who attend all six sessions will receive a Certificate of Achievement on Graduation Day (week seven).
