Application Process

The Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program at Rutgers Health New Jersey Medical School is an ACGME-accredited two-year program, and the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited five-year program.

The application process is conducted through the

Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) and the National Residency Match Program (NRMP)

The ERAS application requires the following information:
1. Curriculum vitae
2. Personal Statement
3. Three letters of recommendation
4. USMLE scores

After review of completed applications and letters of recommendation, candidates are invited for an interview.

The interview process is both extensive and personalized, as we believe that selection of residents is one of the Division's most important functions. The interviews are conducted virtually.
