Principles of Clinical & Translational Research in Oncology  – GSND 5235Q 

The central objective of this course is to understand the principles governing the conduct of clinical research in Oncology. Course objectives in detail:  (1) Understand the principles of carcinogenesis and systemic therapy of Cancer (2) Understand the regulations and processes governing human subject protection (3) Understand the different phases of clinical trials (4) Understand the statistics of conducting clinical trials (5) Understand the drug development process (6) Understand other types of clinical oncology research (7) Understand the principles of inclusion of underserved populations in clinical trials (8) Understand the principles of publishing clinical research. Click here for fall 2022 syllabus.
