A. Hemorrhoids; low power.  Intact epithelium overlies connective tissue containing dilated vessels (veins) some of which are thrombosed.

B. Hemorrhoids; medium power.  Thrombosed, dilated veins show complete organization .

C. Hemorrhoids;  medium power.   A thrombosed, dilated vein shows partial organization of the thrombus material.
