Our division is supported by Ms. Maria Baptiste who is the Nurse Practitioner for Cardiothoracic Surgery at University Hospital.  Ms. Baptiste has over 20 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery at University Hospital and functions as the primary contact person for patients and their families. Her principal role is that of facilitating patients’ preoperative workup and education, their post discharge follow-up care, and collaboration of care with other services and providers.
