General Information
Advanced Stem Cell Seminar – MSBS 520AQ
Fall Semester, Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 PM
2 credits (8/24/11 - 11/30/11)
Course Structure:
| I. | At the beginning of the course, students will be assigned research articles. At discussion, he or she will submit a written summary of the article in lay and scientific forms (1 page each). The summary should not include figures and tables from the paper, but the student's original cartoon to explain the main findings of the study. |
| II. | Each student will be required to read the each article, however the assigned student(s) will lead the group discussion. The students are expected to think `out of the box’. |
| III. | There is one guest lecturer. Students will each prepare a written summary (1 page) of the lecture. |
| IV. | Complex topics in the Monday stem cell class will be discussed in the advance class. |
Printing Instructions:
When printing PDF presentations it is sometimes
advantageous to print in grayscale to conserve
color ink. Also, when printing, one can choose
to print multiple slides on a single page. To
do so, when printing, select the "Properties"
button, then select the "Finishing"
tab. Under "Document Options" the number
of pages per sheet is configured.
