The program also has an interdisciplinary thyroid and parathyroid diseases initiative that involves nuclear medicine, endocrinology, and ENT. Endocrine fellows receive training in ultrasound guided thyroid biopsy, DEXA scans, thyroid and parathyroid imaging and insulin pump and CGM management.

  • We offer a 2-year ACGME accredited Endocrinology Fellowship Program leading to ABIM Subspecialty Boards in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases. The program has maintained full ACGME accreditation for more than 20 years.

Graduate Medical Education (GME)

This Endocrine Division provides GME activities through our Medical Grand Rounds program and through our New Jersey Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE).  GME programs include invited speakers and an Annual NJ AACE Symposium that hosts national experts in a wide variety of Endocrine related fields.  Moreover, our NJ AACE Chapter hosts a fellows case conference that is a highlight for our participants where our senior fellows from each of the two medical schools presents an unusual case and discussion for our audience.  Our Endocrine fellows are encouraged during their training program to seek out additional GME activities throughout the greater New York metropolitan area since this is an excellent resource for advanced learning.
