180 West Market is the new graduate student and resident housing on the Rutgers Newark campus.

Here, state-of-the-art design and on-campus location create a thoughtfully planned living experience for 462 graduate students, residents and post docs from Rutgers's medical, dental, nursing, and other schools. Visit link below for more information.

Off-Campus Housing

Most of our housestaff arrange to rent off campus. These accommodations have been in private homes or apartments in Newark and its surrounding suburbs. Several residents have lived as far North as Paramus, NJ, as far East as Long Island or New York City, as far South as New Brunswick, NJ, and as far West as Connecticut. The most common areas to live are:

Bloomfield

Hoboken

Jersey City

Montclair

Many residents opt to find roommates within the program or with any of the residents in the categorical programs. The chief residents can assist with contacting the residents in the program for any availability.
