Applying for the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program

Applying to the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program

The Child Neurology Residency Program at UMDNJ offers one Advanced position per year.  We offer one Advanced position in an effort to give applicants flexibility to choose where they would like to complete their Pediatric Residency Training.  We work closely with the Department of Pediatrics here at UMDNJ.  They offer a Preliminary Position for our trainees so that applicants interested in completing their training in both Pediatrics and Child Neurology at UMDNJ may do so.

The Child Neurology match will be completed through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).  Applications to our program are made through ERAS  Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).   Applicants may begin transmitting their applications September 15, 2012.  Applicants will be invited to interview after review of the preliminary application materials. Interviews generally take place on Wednesdays during the months of October through January. December 1st is the last date for applications.  National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Main Residency Match results are available March 16, 2013.

Please visit the Child Neurology Society website for important updates regarding the match and submission of applications.

Thank you for your interest in our program and we look forward to reviewing your application.
