The mission of the Rutgers Health NJMS vascular neurology fellowship is to provide comprehensive, unbiased, and rigorous training in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of vascular neurologic disorders in diverse clinical settings. We deliver compassionate and ethical care to local communities in Newark regardless of socioeconomic background, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identification, or ability to cover medical costs, in alignment with the mission of Rutgers Health.
Welcome
to the Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program at Rutgers Health New
Jersey Medical School (RH-NJMS); where we create excellent vascular
neurologist through a balance of clinical training, research
exposure, and career development. Our program trains independent
thinkers who are driven leaders in the field of vascular neurology.
We have a supportive environment where fellows can thrive and receive
excellent clinical training, research involvement, and teaching
opportunities.
As a training program, we strive to represent the patient populations that we serve; as such during our recent recruitment process we attracted and retained a fellow who is native to the Newark NJ area. Additionally, in order to foster an environment of compassionate care for our patient population we interview fellows from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, cultural heritages, religions, gender identities, and countries of origin.
Thank you for considering the RH-NJMS Vascular Neurology program as your possible future home. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
