Muscular Dystrophy Center
The Muscular Dystrophy Center is partially supported by the Muscular Dystrophy
Association. It provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for patients
with known or suspected neuromuscular diseases. Congenital, hereditary
or acquired muscle disorders like muscular dystrophies, myopathies, myasthenia gravis, peripheral neuropathies and amyotropic lateral sclerosis (ALS) are among the disorders treated at the center. Both pediatric and adult patients are seen.
