Imaris Workstation

Imaris for Core Facilities is an interactive visualization and analysis software for 3D/4D microscopy images and is the most complete Imaris package commercially available. Key features include 3D/4D image rendering and smart object detection for retrieving measurements. Users can produce snapshots and animations of rendered objects and/or microscopy images. Cellular entities can be rendered as surfaces, spots, filaments, or cells, and Coloc channels can be built to visualize and quantify colocalized regions. Users can plot in up to 4D and compare groups with statistical tests. Motion can be tracked in 2D/3D and lineage trees can be produced from detected cell divisions. Protocols can be saved for batch analysis and Imaris XT lets users customize analysis with Matlab, Python, Java, or R. The software also features GPU-accelerated deconvolution and can stitch together multiple image tiles with precise alignment.
