Overview

OFFICE MISSION
The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Office of Accreditation and Professional Development (OAPD) is responsible for all matters related to the medical school's accreditation by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), as well as professional development services (career advising, mentoring, faculty wellness, etc.). This dedicated office space is located on the main corridor of C level in MSB C690.

ACCREDITATION
Responsible for all matters related to the medical school's accreditation by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). The office plans, evaluates, and assesses procedures that ensure institutional effectiveness and adherence to national educational standards for structure, function, and performance.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Provides enhanced accessibility and visibility for professional development services offered to our faculty and medical students by guiding them in developing rewarding and enriching careers. This is achieved by assisting them in clarifying which values are important to them, reflecting on their strengths and generating their professional priorities, goals, and objectives.
