DAYAM Clinical Services

Each year the Division provides comprehensive medical and psychosocial services to nearly 5000 adolescents and young adults at the following facilities:

· University Hospital Inpatient Adolescent Service:
A comprehensive 20 bed general adolescent and young adult medicine inpatient services

· University Hospital Outpatient Adolescent Service:
A specialized ambulatory adolescent and young adult medical service

· Doctor's Office Center:
A private adolescent and young adult medicine services

· University Hospital Adolescent Gynecology Clinic:
A specialized ambulatory service that is primarily devoted to family planning and the treatment of gynecological infections and endocrine disorders.

The full range of health and psychosocial services available in these facilities include:

1. routine preventive health care
2. diagnosis and treatment of acute illness
3. diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of chronic illnesses
4. family planning services
5. gynecological services
6. individual counseling
