The S.T.O.P. (Spend Time On Prevention) Program

The S.T.O.P. (Spend Time On Prevention) program focuses on providing confidential HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's) counseling and testing, as well as personalized female medical exams and follow-up services using a mobile outreach van that is accessible throughout Newark and the Greater Essex County area. Services are provided by certified HIV Counselors, a Nurse Practitioner and Case Managers.

This S.T.O.P. Program works in conjunction with S.T.A.R.T. to enhance the availability of HIV testing to youth at risk.
