Welcome to the Rutgers Health/New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program!

Our fellowship is dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of geriatric physicians, with a strong commitment to caring for underserved inner-city populations. This mission is supported by the exceptional faculty and resources of the Department of Medicine at NJMS.

Fellows receive comprehensive training in the management of complex and diverse clinical cases through rotations at University Hospital, gaining experience across the continuum of geriatric care. They also benefit from the vibrant academic environment of a major research institution, gaining exposure to innovative research across multiple medical specialties.

In addition to clinical excellence, we foster an environment of mentorship, scholarship, and professional growth. Our graduates are well-prepared to pursue rewarding careers in both academic medicine and private practice, with continued support from our faculty and alumni network.
