Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program - Welcome
Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program
Program Director's Welcome
Welcome to the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program.
Our program's strength lies in our commitment to train and retain geriatric physicians for underserved inner city residents, and veterans; both are disproportionately affected by national shortage of geriatricians. We receive great support from the Department of Medicine and VA New Jersey Health Care System.
Our fellows sees a plethora of challenging and diverse clinical cases rotating through the University Hospital system and the VA NJ health care system. Our fellows benefit from being engaged in a robust academic institution. Our fellows are nurtured with cutting edge research in all medicine specialties. After graduation, our fellows receive support for career opportunities both in private practice and academic medicine.
