Dr. Galdi specializes in shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine, and is a firm believer that an individualized treatment plan should be customized for each patient. He is also a firm believer in exploring all non-operative modalities, such as anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, and cortisone injections, prior to undergoing surgery. However, if surgery is necessary, Dr. Galdi performs both minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery with the aid of a camera as well as traditional open surgery, depending on the individual patient’s condition. Dr. Galdi treats a wide array of conditions including shoulder and elbow arthritis, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, shoulder and elbow injuries in pitchers and overhead athletes, knee ligament injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, and meniscal tears.
