An ACGME-accredited Fellowship our program provides an extensive and hands-on experience in the management of clinical hand and upper extremity conditions, with a strong focus on microsurgery. Fellows
gain proficiency in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for various conditions, including acute trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, rheumatoid arthritis, congenital deformities, and nerve injuries.

Key components of the Fellowship include:

Surgical Techniques: Experience in small and large total joint replacements for the upper extremity, as well as microvascular surgeries, including replantation and free-tissue transfer.

Supervision and Leadership: The Fellow will work under the direct supervision of attending surgeons, opportunities for autonomy in supervising residents and medical students will enhance leadership skills.

Research and Education: Dedicated time for research and attendance at educational meetings is integral to the program. Fellows are encouraged to engage in both clinical and basic science research
projects, contributing to advancements in the field.

This fellowship is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in hand and upper extremity surgery, equipping them with the skills necessary for both clinical excellence and academic contribution.

Applicants must be Board-eligible or qualified in Orthopaedic, Plastic, or General Surgery.
