Hand and Microvascular Surgery

Dr. Capo completed his fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis. He did additional fracture training in Toronto at SunnyMoole Hospital and Berne in Switcherland at the Inselspital.


His upper extremity practice focuses on both the non-operative and operative treatment of disorders involving the joints, bones, muscles, nerves, and arteries of the upper extremity.

Dr. Capo routinely performs arthroscopy, tendon transfers, joint replacement, and fracture stabilization on the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder joints.  He also treats soft tissue defects of both the upper and lower limbs utilizing microscopic techniques.

Research Interests: Fracture fixation, wound healing, nerve repair.

Practice Philosophy: My goal is to have patients understand all the therapeutic options which are available to treat their injury. Armed with this knowledge, patients can then take an active role in choosing the treatment plan which best suits their needs.
