Dr. Liporace received his medical degree
from New York Medical College and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training
at the NYU / Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New
York City . Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma
and Reconstructive Surgery at Tampa General Hospital with the Florida
Orthopaedic Institute. He specializes in the treatment of complex fractures,
peri-articular fractures, pelvic and acetabular surgery, and post-traumatic
reconstructive procedures.
Research Interests: Biomechanical analysis of fracture
fixation, outcome studies after fracture fixation, pain management after
orthopaedic surgery
Treatment Philosophy: My goal is to inform patients
of all current treatment options for their unique needs. I feel patient
education is extremely important, and I encourage patients to take an
active role in making appropriate treatment decisions.
