Medical Courses
Medical teaching at NJMS integrates basic science knowledge from all of the biomedical sciences with the pathophysiology of disease, treatment of disease and physical examination skills. Our departmental faculty teach the pharmacology and physiology content in the integrated medical courses, in addition to serving as co-course directors and curriculum leads.
A combined M.D./Ph.D. program is also offered. In addition, opportunities exist for students and clinicians who wish to pursue research related to any of our Faculty Research Interests. The department is strongly committed to its educational role at all levels and strives to integrate top quality research with excellence in education.
