Applications for Students

The Education Portal: https://ep.njms.rutgers.edu . Most all academic systems can be accessed via the Education Portal, and most will have single sign-in. Please make sure you login first by clicking on the “Login” tab over on the left in the top nav. Canvas will require a separate login. Remember to logout and close your browser when done.

Audience Response through Point Solutions Students can respond to questions using a registered mobile device through the app or website.  See instructions and tips for how to add questions to your presentations for Course Directors and lecturers. 

Canvas is the course management system for all your course material, lecture slides, etc.

Clinical Encounters Log (CEL) – is used to track your clinical encounters during clinical rotations, etc. (mostly 3^rd years).

Education Management System (EMS or EduMan) is the main system used for Evaluations, Grade Book, rotation Lotteries and the Dean’s Letter.  See instructions and tips for Course Directors.  

Lecture Capture Podcasts – 1^st and 2^nd year lectures are recorded and current podcasts are available thru the Yuja platform. Prior year podcasts are available thru the Digital Media archives.

SOCRATES is a Searchable Online Curriculum Repository and Teaching Encounters System – i.e., a repository of all teaching material that can be searched for keywords to see where certain topics and material were taught across all years.

Virtual Microscopy – is a platform to view digital microscopic slides. 

In addition, information on Financial Debt Management, Policies, and other Resources are available through the Education Portal.
