Multidisciplinary PhD Program in
Biomedical Sciences

Cell Biology, Neuroscience and Physiology (CBNP) Track

This program offers a flexible multidisciplinary curriculum and research opportunities to give students the ability to explore intersections across the disciplines of neuroscience, cardiovascular biology, molecular pharmacology, stem cell biology, physiology, and biophysics. During 3 semesters of integrated coursework, students will take 3 laboratory research rotations and select mentors for focused thesis research. Students who earn Ph.D. degrees in the CBNP track will be well-positioned to continue their careers in industry and academia performing interdisciplinary and translational systems biology research.
