Directions to ICPH Building

From the NJ Turnpike
Take NJTP Exit 15W to 280W. Travel approximately 3 miles on 280W to Exit 14A. Go up the ramp to the traffic light (Clifton Ave.) and make a left turn. Clifton Avenue soon turns into Norfolk St. Pass several traffic lights and make a left onto Central Avenue. Go one block on Central, and make a right turn onto Newark Street. Event parking is on the right at the end of the first block. The ICPH Building is on the left in the 2nd block. Limited visitor parking lot is directly across from the main building entrance. Buzz the security guard to enter either lot.

From the Garden State Parkway
Take GSP Exit 145 to 280E. Travel approximately 2.5 miles on 280E to Exit 13. Make a right turn onto 1st Street (later Bergen Street). Go several blocks and make a left onto Central Avenue. Proceed several blocks on Central, pass the traffic light at Norfolk Street, and turn right at the next corner (no traffic light), which is Newark Street. Event parking is on the right at the end of the first block. The ICPH Building is on the left in the 2nd block. Limited visitor parking lot is directly across from the main building entrance. Buzz the security guard to enter either lot.






Public Transportation to ICPH building


From Newark Penn Station (same name but different station from Penn Station in New York)

There is a Newark City Subway, which goes directly from Penn Station Newark to within one block of the ICPH Building. It is three stops from Newark Penn Station to the Warren Street Station. The cost is $0.70 each way, and the subway is modern, clean, and safe. You must purchase a ticket before board, and also validate the ticket before boarding. Failure to do so may result in a fine of up to $100.00.

Taxis are always available at Newark Penn Station (approximately $9.00).

Getting to Newark Penn Station

New Jersey Transit runs frequently from Penn Station in New York, and from many New Jersey locations, to Penn Station Newark. The round trip cost from New York is $10.00.

PATH trains also run from New York to Penn Station Newark on a regular basis.
