Parking Facilities and Registration

Parking on campus requires a valid parking permit; Rutgers Health Student Commuter and Resident permits can be purchased on the parking portal. Visit https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login to purchase your permit. Visit https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login to purchase your permit.

Online registration requires:

• NetID

• Vehicle license plate, state registered, and color (students can register 2 vehicles, only 1 vehicle can be parked on campus)

• Valid form of payment (Visa, Mastercard, Discover)

Note: LPR is the current system used in all parking decks on the Rutgers Health Newark campus. Information for the alternative method (ParkWhiz app) of accessing the Norfolk/P1 deck should the LPR fail to capture your license plate at the gate can be found in the Gated Lots and Deck Access section on the Student page.
