On our campus, you will find Master's programs designed to help students succeed in professional healthcare careers and biomedical research focused careers. Our Multidisciplinary Ph.D. program allows students to conduct research in broad biomedical subject areas.
Find your programThe Newark Health Sciences Campus of Rutgers shares campus with the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). Master's and Ph.D. students receive personal attention and advisement from track directors in both programs.
Pre-medical students can apply to this Masters program to enhance their GPA, learn from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) faculty, and strengthen their study habits.
Students pursue this track of the Masters program to strengthen their application to dental schools. Students have the opportunity to take dental school courses and be graded with Rutgers School of Dental Medicine students.
Students and professionals pursue the Biomedical Research Scholars track to learn more about biomedical research in areas including but is not limited to cell biology, neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, immunology and infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular biology, and genetics.
This is a fully funded Ph.D. program which gives students hands-on experience in biomedical research and prepares them for a career in the biomedical sciences.

Certificate and Non-matric programs are designed for students who wish to take courses to achieve a concentration in a particular subject area without undertaking the full commitment of a master's degree.
