Alliance for Career Advancement

Alliance for Career Advancement (ACA) was established in January 2014 by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from the biomedical sciences for gaining practical information to navigate career planning. As reflected in our past events, we have explored an exhaustive list of career options that include teaching in academia, industrial research at big pharma, small biotech and contract research organizations, business development in university technology transfer and commercialization, startups, strategy consulting and  medical communications as well publication and medical writing. Over the years we have also evolved into an organization that enables our members to develop and understand leadership, facilitation, communication and organizational behavior skills.

Our vision is to create a talent pool of individuals who are knowledgeable of and prepared for varied careers paths in the biomedical sciences.
