The purpose of this course is to provide students with the current concepts of all types of stem cells. The students will gain an appreciation for translational science, while developing an understanding of the strength of interdisciplinary science. Students will be responsible for watching a pre-recorded lecture (2-3 hr) before class and arriving ready to discuss. Students are expected to arrive in class with either an understanding of the material or with specific questions. Class time will be devoted to discussing progression in the field of stem cell biology, including current and future applications.
