Education & Training

The radiation oncology department is dedicated to educating all students about the important role of radiation therapy in cancer management. All RWJ Radiation Oncology residents rotate in Newark. Elective Clerkships for third and fourth year medical students are also offered to interested students. Residents and fellows in other medical specialties, as well as medical school students and undergraduate students, are also welcome to shadow the physicians in our department at anytime.
