TYPICAL WORK DAY EXPERIENCE

8:00 AM-12:00 PM - Clinical duties*

12:00 PM-1:00 PM - Resident Conference

1:00 PM-4:30 PM - Clinical duties*

4:00 PM-5:00 PM - Resident Conference (2-3 times per week)

*NBI Work Day: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

On the assigned rotation, the resident works closely with the attending on the service. The philosophy of our program is to foster progressive responsibility on a trajectory to independent practice. As the resident acquires skills the resident will take a more active role in managing the service.  Residents are always excused for conferences as part of dedicated academic time.
