Curriculum / Schedule

CORE ROTATIONS / CONTINUITY CLINICS:

• VA Medical Center – Continuity clinic and Inpatient rotation
• UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL - Continuity clinics at UH

ELECTIVES OFFERED:

• Pediatric Rheumatology (in development) at RWJ
• Sports Medicine, Podiatry

DIDACTICS / CONFERENCES SCHEDULE:

• Journal Club – twice a month
• Core Didactics – Weekly – including topics from internal and external speakers,
• Board Review – twice a month
• Rheumatology Clinical Pathology conference (1-2x a month)
• Rheumatology Radiology Conference – Twice Monthly (includes ultrasound practice)
• Internal Medicine Conferences – Grand Rounds, Clinical pathology conferences (weekly)
• Rheumatology Grand Rounds through Robert Wood Johnson (weekly via webex)
• MSK Ultrasound Didactics – weekly

Fellows are also funded/have attended the American college of Rheumatology/AHRP Annual meetings, State of the art Clinical Symposiums (SOTA), Congress of Clinical Rheumatology (CCR), and local – New Jersey Rheumatology Association (NJRA) meetings.
