Welcome to the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Rheumatology Fellowship Program website. Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences is the premier academic provider of health care in New Jersey and leader in research with many disciplines.

The Rheumatology Fellowship program has been in existence since July of 2018 and we are proud of how much we have grown since our initiation. Our program offers a well-rounded rheumatologic training experience, providing our fellows the opportunity to manage complicated cases in an incredibly diverse patient population – at University Hospital and East Orange Veterans Hospital.

Our faculty, across the two campuses, are integrally involved with fellow education from bedside teaching, to case conferences and didactic sessions, procedures, and mentoring of research projects and scholarly activities. The fellow-faculty ratio is very small, and fellows enjoy a close working relationship with faculty members.
